Working IBM 5155 Portable PC Personal Computer w/512KB RAM Dual 5.25 Floppy Drives. The case and the keyboard were cleaned thoroughly. There are no cracks in the case. The handle, back-door, and lift levers all work as they should with no issues. There are nick and marks in the outer case (see photos).

The front "IBM Personal Portable Personal Computer" badge is missing. The computer powered up and did a memory test to 512KB of RAM.

Since the computer doesn't have a HDD it went to basic. I ran DOS 3.10 in both drives and they work as they should. I also ran a head cleaner in both drives. All the keys on the keyboard work as they should.

The monitor works perfectly along with the tuning knobs. The frequency of the monitor is different from the frequency of the iPhone 11 that I used to take the photos.

Thus the reason you see the monitor read out looking funny, faded, or not working a full screen. It is just because of the different frequency. There is nothing wrong with the monitor.

Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem.

Personally, I do not think that this is an acceptable way to return items. We are not Walmart or Costco that cannot absorb these financial damages. Thank you for your patronage.
