Refurbished IBM PC XT 286 Model 5162 w/ 640KB of Zero Wait-State RAM Computer. This is a working IBM XT-286 5162 computer. It has 640Kb of zero wait-state ram. This ram is faster than an IBM AT/5170 1 wait-state ram. Cards included left to right. Video 7 VEGA 256K Rev 0 1985 MDA/CGA/EGA/Hercules compatible video card.

It is currently set for CGA/80 column The manual for this card easily found online. It has a lot of options. AD450 AT Multi I/O card, Game port, 2 serial port, 2 parallel port unbranded card Jumoer setting easily found online. Logitech PS/2 Mouse port card - 200033-008.

Looks like something IBM would make. Most modem are shorter cards.

IBM 5.25 1.2Mb Floppy Disk Drive YD-380 Type 1711 Fully functional, Heads Cleaned, Head travel rails lightly lubricated.

IBM 3.5 720Kb Floppy Disk Drive 4449A0213 F06 Fully functional, Heads Cleaned, Head travel rails lightly lubricated. Seagate ST-225 20Mb Hard Disk Drive, Working Low level Reformatted from a IBM 5170 Diagnostics Disk - see below for description. The case has been cleaned. A new 6v CMOS battery installed. There is no corrosion in the battery compartment.

All the boards were blown dust and dirt free, and all socketed ICs reseated. The PSU is clean, as is the fan. This computer looks to have been used little, but does appear have developed a fault with the hard drive section of the IBM Fixed Disk Adaptor. It will not recognize any hard drive attached. It gives a 1782 hard disk controller error on boot. The computer will not boot from the hard drive. It does boot fine from the included DOS 3.30 floppy disk in the 5.25 A Drive. The second hard drive controller card was added to be access the hard drive. After booting from floppy disk, you can access the C: hard drive normally. The system appears to be a fully Stock high end system with only cards added. This one is a much better card. The outer case looks almost new with a exception for a very scratches and nicks. The front name plate still has it clear plastic protective cover on. Left the card ID stickers, and slot numbers on the card alone as they look good. Also comes with the original software and manual.

Please see photos for content and physical condition. Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem.
