Apple Power Macintosh Mac 7500/100 PowerPC Desktop Computer 1000mb HD, 232mb RAM. Well, this one started out really good. I connected the computer to the monitor and everything tested good. The computer was great and there was no broken plastic. I was able to access the hard drive and open programs freely.

3.5 and CD-ROM drives and they worked as they should. I cleaned both heads on the 3.5 drive and the CD-ROM drive. Everything was perfect until I went to clean the computer. Using a small brush and air compressor and being very careful not to break the plastic parts, I cleaned out the inside.

When I finished, I gently pulled the plastic dust cover back over and one of the tabs broke off. I then went to re-test the computer and the power supply went dead on me. The PSU will momentarily turn on and then shut down without the fan even spinning.

I guess it did not like me cleaning the dust out of it. I cleaned the chassis and then slide it back on (gently) and the power switch plastic broke. I don't know why Apple went so cheap on these parts back in the 90s. So, now the PSU will need to be fixed or replaced along with power switch. At least I was able to test the logic board, hard drive, and both internal drives before it went bad on me.

That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem.

Personally, I do not think that this is an acceptable way to return items. We are not Walmart or Costco that cannot absorb these financial damages. Thank you for your patronage.
